For a unique combination of mountain adventure and shoreside barbecues, consider visiting Lake Tahoe this Spring Break. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to ski in nothing but a swimsuit, make your way up to Northstar or Squaw Valley for a sun-soaked slalom. After a day of skiing, relax by Emerald Bay’s gorgeous water or go shopping in South Lake Tahoe. As new members of the THIRDHOME program, I had been seeing many Curated Stays that Liz Bates puts together for experiences all over the globe. My first thought was to reach out to her to see if she could help us coordinate a trip for 6 families (26 total people) for our Spring Break trip to Whistler, BC, Canada.
Boy did Liz come through for us and arranged accommodations for ALL of us at the Westin Whistler! Even though we did not use Keys for this trip, we saw tremendous value in THIRDHOME beyond the Key exchange.
The packages Liz put together for us were about 1/2 the cost of what we would have paid if we booked rooms directly through the resort. We each had 2-bedroom suites which were perfect for all 6 families. She arranged everything from shuttle transportation to/from the airport, lift tickets, and the rooms.
I could not be happier with the level of service Liz provided to us to make this entire trip come together. So much so that we have already started working with her on putting together another trip for this group for Spring Break 2019!
