Glenelg to Mylor in the wine regions is a 45-minute drive away. From your base in Mylor, the Barossa Valley is an hour’s drive, and McLaren Vale is just 40 minutes.
Getting to Kangaroo Island is a comfortable 45-minute vehicle and passenger ferry trip from Cape Jervis, just 1.5 hours South of Adelaide, to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island.
One of the best ways to experience Kangaroo Island is to self-drive. Car Hire is approximately $1350 USD for the duration of your trip.
