Terry Weaver
Terry began his career by selling books door to door in college for the Southwestern Company in Nashville, TN. In 1972, he finished as the #1 salesperson out of 7,200 salespeople. Later, he became a district Sales Manager and recruited and trained over 1,000 salespeople over a 6-year period.
Terry moved to Hilton Head Island, SC, and quickly became one of the top salespeople on the Island out of 1,000 Realtors. He was promoted to Director of Recruiting and Sales Training for the Sea Pines Company for 3 ½ years.
In 1987, Terry founded the Marketing and Sales Institute, which provided sales management and sales training for Real Estate Agents across America. During his years, he consulted and trained over 2,500 Real Estate Agents and consulted for hundreds of Top luxury communities across the country, including Kiawah Island Real Estate in Kiawah, South Carolina, Querencia in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Suncadia Real Estate in Washington State.
Terry is the author of the best-selling book Secrets of Selling from Real Estate Masters.
Terry graduated from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a Psychology degree.
Terry and Tillie Weaver live in Bluffton, South Carolina, in a low country home overlooking the May River. They have been members and investors in THIRDHOME since 2011 and have enjoyed 65 wonderful trips in the Club.
