How does ThirdHome work?
ThirdHome is a private home exchange club for high-end second-home owners.
Instead of traditional direct swaps, Members add unused weeks at their vacation homes to
earn travel credits, called Keys. Those credits act as a currency to book stays at other
Members’ properties worldwide, rent-free.
Does my Colorado home qualify?
Eligible homes are high-end second homes or vacation homes in desirable travel
destinations, which describes most of the Colorado mountain corridor. The average Member home
is valued at USD 2.4 million. Properties are reviewed and approved on quality, location and
desirability. If you received the card, your address is already on the prequalifying
list.
Is there a cost to join?
There are no upfront membership fees. Members pay an Exchange Fee only when they
book a stay, and annual dues of USD 295 apply beginning the year after enrollment.
What do I pay when I travel?
A 7-night stay starts with a USD 495 Exchange Fee. There is no nightly pricing,
no cleaning fees and no direct home swapping required. Member support is included throughout
your trip.
What if nobody books my home?
You still travel. Travel credits are guaranteed when you add unused weeks,
not when someone books them, so your ability to travel never depends on demand for your
own calendar.
Who else will be staying in my home?
Only other Members, every one of whom owns a luxury second home of their own or
has been verified by ThirdHome. This is not a rental platform and your home is never listed
to the public.
