Vero Beach, Florida
Penthouse on the River in Vero Beach
Penthouse on the River
This sunny 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1,300 sq. ft. apartment was totally renovated and redecorated in the summer of 2015 and is filled with wonderful art on the walls and some great Spanish antiques from one of the earliest houses in Vero Beach.
The kitchen is spectacular, featuring stainless steel appliances and Quartz counters. You can see the river from anywhere throughout the open floorplan, including the living room, dining room, and the kitchen. There are many interesting decorative pieces in the apartment, including an old Venetian Mirror in the master bath.
The master bedroom contains a king bed, large flat screen tv, sitting area, gorgeous artwork, and an elegant writing desk in a back alcove looking out to the bright window...a perfect spot for reading or journaling. The second bedroom has two twin size beds, chest, and armchair for extra seating.
This residence has an upscale coastal vibe and is ideal for entertaining. The balcony is very spacious and has spectacular views of the waterway. Some of the balcony is under cover and part is open to the sun- perfect for those looking for sun as well as shade!
If you're an early riser, you'll appreciate that the apartment is perfectly positioned for the best sunrises over the water. They are magnificent! You can often see dolphins from the balcony playing around the seawall across from the apartment. Of course, the beaches just over the causeway are phenomenal! Paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing in the ocean and lagoon are very popular here.
In the neighborhood, you will find first class Vero Beach Museum, Vero Beach Opera, nationally ranked Riverside Theatre, and famous McKee Jungle Botanical Garden. We have two lecture series and bring in amazing speakers. (Condoleeza Rice is coming this year.) You can check the Riverside Distinguished Lecture Website to see the list of great speakers. Our cultural activiites make this slice of Florida an artistic delight!

Great property. Even better hosts
The condo is very well-appointed and was a comfortable place for our visit to the area. The outdoor terrace was especially nice, with comfortable seating and a table, chairs and umbrella ideal for family meals. Patty and Ron live right next door, and are a wealth of knowledge about the local area, which was also a plus. ”
