Built in 2011 this beautiful greenbuilt eco-home is an ode to modern beach and surfing life. Enjoy the palette of concrete, glass, wood and steel,with many comforts and amenities.

This 2,300 sq ft home includes: a gourmet kitchen with a Bertazzoni stove, Bosch dishwasher, filtered drinking water, various coffee makers,a vitamix and lots of dishes for all your celebrating.

The family room and living room include a new Samsung flat screen tv with Netflix, Pandora, Blu-ray dvd player, and iPod deck which are all integrated into the home theater built in sound system.

The house is well heated by a radiant floor system with a thermostat in each room, and a mesmerizing and efficient gas fireplace in the family room.

There are huge glass accordion doors that open the house to the outdoor living area, which includes a concrete patio and a large grass area, a fountain, fire pit, hot outdoor shower and small barbecue.

The backyard is fenced in and private. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms and two full baths. Each bathroom has a large soaking tub and the master bedroom bath has a river rock shower with an ocean view.

Two bedrooms have their own decks with ocean views. Two very spacious bedrooms with king and queen beds and two small single bed futons and a third bedroom with a queen bed. We have a washer and dryer for your use in an upstairs closet.



The recessed lighting throughout the house is on dimmers There is plenty of parking in front of the house and a covered driveway carport parking.

The location is phenomenal, just a three minute walk to some of the best surfing (Pleasure Point, the Hook, Sharks) and beaches (26th and 38th) in Santa Cruz. You can also walk up the Moran Lake Lagoon across the street. Feel and smell the ocean breezes, as you stroll through this quiet neighborhood (the house is on a quiet dead end street) on your way to the beautiful beaches,

Relax in the hammock on the outdoor deck or in the backyard. Luxuriate on the outdoor couch surrounded by the lovely garden. You'll be in the best vacation location of the Santa Cruz and Capitola area.

You are one block away from the newly revamped upgrades to East Cliff Drive which now boasts a beautiful walk, and bike path all the way to 41st Ave.

You can walk or take a few minute drive to a variety of great restaurants at 41st and Portola Ave or Capitola Village. There you can find Pizza, Thai, Italian, Mexican, Sushi, Health Food, Coffe and Ice Cream shops and special restaurants on the waterfront.

You can rent fishing boats, kayaks or rowboats. Watch the pelicans, otters, harbor seals and dolphins and whales if you are lucky. We are a close drive (10 min) to Nisene Marks Redwood Forest, for wonderful biking, hiking and running. Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor is nearby (5min) where you can find sailing ,volleyball, kayaking and whale watching. You are a short drive (7min) to the famous beach Boardwalk amusement park and Santa Cruz Wharf.

Their are many special events nearby including: Wednesday night sailboat races, music on the beach Thursday evenings at the harbor, and free concerts at the Boardwalk.

Really comfortable, Great host.

All things great about this place and its host, so long as you realize its not on the beach but a good block away. The hostess is fabulous in every way. The art, d├ęcor and design are too. the neighborhood is a blend of old school beach and this home is a standout. I hope to return every other year. I loved it. Under an hour to the Bay area or San Jose Airport, or Pebble Beach. we used the bikes provided for a backroads neighborhoods and back bay harbors tour that cant be beat. Kudos. Downtown Capitola and has horrible parking machines and tickets up until 8 pm or after 3 hours, so beware, $38 after dinner parking tickets suck.”
