**This flat is conveniently situated a 1/2 block away from a trolley car stop that will take you all over town.
The trolley car is the oldest continuously operating streetcar in the world! The mahogany seats, brass fittings and exposed ceiling light bulbs are from a day when plastic seats and aluminum rails were not even a thought. Rumbling around the ''neutral ground'' of St. Charles Avenue and Carrollton Avenue for more than 150 years, the streetcar symbolizes the charm and romance of the City of New Orleans.

We enjoyed our stay in new Orleans. The property is away from the French quarter, but still walking distance during the day. The streetcar stop is a block away. We did not have to drive while we were there. The property is close to many fine restaurants and museums. ( walking distance) The Flat has a great kitchen if you choose to eat in or cook. Rouses's is a 10 minute walk or a short drive if you prefer. The accommodations were very comfortable and the parking secure within the garage.”
Great location and homey atmosphere
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fleur de Lis. The convenient location on Lee Circle was within walking distance to several wonderful museums and just steps from the St. Charles trolley allowing for a pleasant ride to the French Quarter. The apartment is charming and cozy with personal photos and memorabilia whuch made us feel like guests in a friend's home. Our host Janie provided helpful information about local attractions and restaurants, and we arrived to welcome cookies and a bottle of wine. Gated parking was a definite plus. ”
Great Anniversary celebration
My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in New Orleans and were very happy to stay at the flat. It is centrally located and close to great restaurants and fun places. The decorations are beautiful, tasteful and inspiring. The place was very comfortable and included all the amenities you could possibly need. The hosts provided us with great insight on the places to see and great restaurants and everything worked out wonderfully. We would love to come back!!!”
Great location for fun in New Orleans
When we arrived we were greeted with a bottle of red and white wine and selection of chocolates. The home had huge windows overlooking lee circle. We watched the streetcars and one day saw a small parade go around the circle. It is close to bus and streetcar stops so It was very easy to get around and leave the car parked. Parking is a great bonus with Fleur di lis. We would love to return in the future. Thank you Janie and Jay for sharing your home. Deborah and Scott”
