The study directly overlooks the reception room and is provided with phone & fax lines. It is furnished with a classic Charles Eames chair and distinctive stainless steel artwork, and is ideal for enjoying privacy, whilst still being part of the living space below.

The flat is situated within easy reach of the shops, bars and restaurants on Lavender Hill, St John's Road and Battersea Park Road as well as the open spaces of Clapham Common and Battersea Park. Local transport links include Clapham Junction Station (National Rail) for connections into and out of central London.

Battersea Loft was very disappointing!

A hassle from the start: the owner made arrangements for us to get the keys from the couple who had stayed before us, which was a hassle. There were three sets of keys and not one which opened everything: the outside entrance gate, the building entrance and then either of the two doors to the flat. The cleaners who were supposed to arrive at 11:00am that morning didn't show until 3:00pm which meant that when we arrived at 4:00pm, they were in the midst of cleaning. They did not finish until 8:00pm which meant that we had to move arround them for 4 hours. The fridge stopped working on Day 2 and we lost the $50 of food we had purchased the first night. One bathroom sink didn't have faucet handles so it was un-useable the whole week. The TV had no instructions and the previous guests never figured out how to use it....we did after working on it for a few hours and contacting the cable company. The previous guests also ran into heating and hot water issues and had to call for service. The area was less than desireable with no tube stop: we had to take buses or an overground train to get to a tube stop so it was an hour travel each time we went into central London. We will be contacting Giles directly to rectify this...it did not live up to the reputation that Third Home wishes to associate itself with. We will never return!”
