Description

Olde Naples Beach House

Olde Naples is THE destination international travelers love to visit. Naples is one of NetJets top destinations for private jets. Olde Naples has the beaches, fantastic restaurants, and wonderful shops within blocks, not miles. A car is not needed if you are active. 5th Avenue is a hot spot of fun, high quality restaurants, shops, and a great place to stroll around and take it all in. Olde Naples is a very high end but also a very relaxed community.

The weather in Naples is great nearly all of the time. 80's F (25-30C) is common. It can get cooler at times but a sweater is usually enough. The occasional rain clouds roll through but sunshine is the rule, not the exception.

Our beach house is in one of the nicest sections of Olde Naples. You can walk 2 blocks to the beach (and enjoy the outside shower after!), walk to get breakfast, lunch, dinner, walk to golf and tennis, walk to the spa. Walk to get a newspaper, a beach drink, a grouper sandwich. You do not need a car if you are active.

Our beach house is perfect for a family or a few couples who want to hang out and have fun. We get rave 5 star reviews as you can see by past guests though we do not claim to be the Four Seasons (we are a really nice beach house!).

We ride bikes everywhere and hope you might too. We have 7 teen/adult bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach toys, and a set of golf clubs you can use. I ride to the golf course on my bike with clubs strung over my back :). We walk or ride to tennis. We ride to the grocery store (several bikes have baskets). Even if you are no longer active this is a very convenient place to go to because everything is so close and easy to get to.

The botanic garden close by is excellent. You can also rent sea kayaks, SUP paddle boards, or a powerboat to see the islands, waterways, and maybe some manatees. You can hire a captain fairly reasonably to take you out on a cocktail cruise around the mansions along the inlets in the evening They can pick you up and drop you off at City Dock restaurant, and you can ride bikes there). If you have kids, they will have a blast catching fish that school up under the lights along the docks as you drift by.

Naples is famous for its white sugar-sand beaches. Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve are close by and worth exploring in an air boat or with a private fishing guide. Dolphin spotting is a daily occurrence. You may see a sailfish and other species as well. You'll be able to see firsthand the indigenous wildlife and plant life that make this internationally famous area so important to the environment.

Whether your passion is paintings or sculptures, symphonies or rock bands, Broadway or one-man shows, Naples possesses a growing cultural hub of offerings sure to please the widest variety of artistic tastes. It is common to find an art fair or some major event many weeks each season.

Getting to Naples is easy. Ft Myers (RSW) airport is only 35 minutes away. We often fly into Ft Lauderdale (FLL) which is ~ 1 1/2 hours away and out of Ft Myers, and vice versa. Miami (MIA) is another option at 1 hour 45 minutes. Sarasota Bradenton (SRQ) is ~ 2 hours 15 minutes away, Tampa is just under 3 hours, and Orlando is between 3-4 hours. I recommend you either fly into/out of Ft Myers, or fly into one airport and into/out of Ft Myers which we do all the time in peak season when tickets are highest.

Go to Olde Naples if you want to have a very relaxing, fun in the sun time, and take in great restaurants, artwork, shops, and a great place to just hang out. Definitely try to have a grouper sandwich whenever possible. Be sure to check out the local restaurant "City dock" if you want fresh seafood along the water in an old Florida setting!

Our beach house is equipped with everything you want and need for relaxing and entertaining. The inside dining table seats 10-12. The outside fire pit and lit fountain are great for hanging out in the evening (whether you are a night owl or not!). The large flat panel TV's have Apple TV to let you play your tunes, show your pictures and videos on the big screen. Naples is sooo easy to eat out, but it is nice to cook or start the fun at the beach house, where the outside grill and kitchen are ready to assist.

NOTE: The room with twin beds really has 4 twin beds in it.

Naples is a place where you can be a visitor, bring friends and family and not worry about a schedule because there are so many easy fun things to do close by. We hope you check it out and have a blast. And if you like it, please be sure to let us know about your favorite places too!

Lovely home in Old Naples

Charming and conveniently located to beach, shops, restaurants, this is a wonderful home. We had a great time exploraing beaches, parks, restaurants all within a few blocks. We also had a fun day exploring Marco Island which is not far either. The owners were warm and welcoming and made bikes and beach equipment available too. Great spot!”

Wonderful Vacation!

We stayed for 2 weeks at the Beach House and enjoyed everything. Home is in an area of expensive homes and was very clean and well equipped including bicycles and beach chairs/umbrellas. Lots of trees and bushes make the home very private. It is a 10 minute walk to Naples white sand beach which was never crowded. Shopping and restaurants are a short 5-10 minute drive and parking is free everywhere (except at beach). Owner was always available and helpful. We would love to go again. ”

Perfect gem of a property close to the beach

My niece got married this past weekend in Naples and I was able to grab this gem of a property! Location is amazing - a block and a half from the beach, and regular beach restaurant and bar, Naples Beach Hotel. This location is 5 minutes from 5th avenue and 3rd street where all the best fun places are to go! The very accommodating and friendly owner gave us his key for the shed with all the chairs, bikes and towels we needed. Cant wait to come back!!! MJ and Dee Jennings”

Exceeded Our Expectations!

We loved our stay in the beautiful Olde Naples Beach House. The property is in a lovely neighborhood only a short bike ride to the beach (multiple bikes were included). The house was also equipped with everything we needed for a great family vacation. We had a great time and will definitely come back if the opportunity presents itself Thanks to Bill and his family for the use of their beach house! Jarrett, Michelle, Mathew & Nina ”

Right in the middle of luxury

This was a vacation for my 80 year old mother, her husband and myself. The house was lovely, the deco inviting, and the surroundings embracing. My mother especially loved the landscaping and privacy. We could sit out back and enjoy the beauty in solitude. We were close enough to the beach to walk there. Also, a lake is nearby, which has a bench for relaxing while enjoying nature. The surrounding homes were nice to look at as we walked by. My mother will be bragging to all her friends about her vacation, you can be sure.”
