Amazing Private Beach Villa!

We had the best time at the Vivaro Roatan luxury beach front home! My husband and 10 year old twins stayed there for a week and it was such a unique experience. Matt, the property manager is awesome! He greeted us and helped us with everything throughout our stay. From planning any excursions to transportation. He was so nice and friendly! He let my kids play with his dog, Hops. The home is huge for a family of 4, plenty of living space. We all slept in the tri-level bunk bed room, which is every kid’s (and adult’s) dream! The living area is spacious and includes some board games which was fun to have with kids. The kitchen was just the perfect size with a pantry. They had kid friendly plates, cups and silverware, which I loved. Our trash was taken out for us throughout the week and the pool was also cleaned during our stay. The home comes with tons of floaties, snorkel gear and life vests. So kids and parents were all very happy:) The home also comes with paddle boards. We were able to enjoy our own beach with so much privacy. It was all very relaxing. There was air conditioner available and fans as well, so we were always comfortable. We used their laundry-room which was super convenient. We were also only a 10 minute walk away from town. The family and I walked to West Bay to try different restaurants and look at shops. So the property is in a great location. On a rainy day we had Chef Junior come over to the home and teach us how to cook pizza! It was such a blast! What a great family idea! My kids really enjoyed it! You can even go fishing! You get picked up from the dock right on your property. Talk about convenience! Great place to relax and unwind. Spectacular home and island

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this spacious stylish property. Everything we needed was there, even down to insect repellent and snorkel masks. How lovely to find a well equipped kitchen, excellent bed linen and towels, a very helpful on site manager... as well as the obvious delights of sunshine and a private beach. We did lots of snorkelling and found a few good restaurants. Over the years we must have stayed in about thirty third homes... this is in the top 3!”

Delightful trip in Roatan!

We had a delightful trip and stay in Roatan. They house was everything we needed, relaxing and plenty of space for our party of 6. Most importantly the managers were outstanding. We arrive late and tired and did not want to shop for our food until morning, however we all needed coffee the next day they were happy to bring us some of their stock to avoid going without. We found everyone on the island friendly and conversational.”

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful beach house and its amazing oceanfront beach. We were awash in the beauty of creation. The home was incredibly well designed and built with great attention to detail. Especially appreciated were the 4 identical master suites which gave each couple wonderful accommodation. . The owners and property manager took great care to ensure we enjoyed many wonderful activities and great food during the week. Whether a Hatteras excursion, fly-fishing, local island food or gourmet dining, all was enjoyed. The house staff was extremely attentive and kept our home away from home impeccable. We especially appreciated how the owners were passionate about pouring into this island community.”

Incredible Beach Home!

Wow! What a wonderful home and incredible location. We fell in love with the West End as soon as we got here. Lots of small restuarants and dive shops, and what seemed like a very large ex-pat community. The town wasn't as touristy as West Bay, but a lot more active than Pristine Bay. Tayna, the owner, and Mark, the property manager, were both incredibly helpful with recommending restaurants and activities to consider. The home is amazing. There are two master bedrooms and the large kitchen/living room in the main building, and then another two master bedrooms and a bunk room with 6 bunk beds and a loft in the second building. We didn't even use the second building and could have easily invited three other couples and their kids to join us without feeling crowded. The home sits right on the bay and within snorkeling distance of some world class snorkeling and dive sites. We saw 4 octopi and some squid during a night snorkel right off our beach. Late October/Early November is definitely the rainy season. The airport was closed due to flooding the day before we arrived, but after the first couple days of rain the weather cleared up for us. The home has solar backup power which came in handy as the island lost power the first four nights we were there. The house is located at the end of a long dirt road. West End would be a long walk or a short taxi ride. We rented a car at the airport and it came in very handy for our daily trips into West End, running to Eldon's for groceries and exploring the island. Our teenage son got his dive certification at Sun Divers during the first half of the week, then we all enjoyed diving together afterward. They are professional and friendly, and there are dozens of great dive sites within a 10-minute boat ride. We prefer the smaller boutique dive shops like Sun Divers versus some of the other dive shops that cater to the cruise ships. If you are looking for a resort experience then I would recommend Grand Roatan, and if you prefer a quiet golfing community with security gates and unlimited a/c then you might like Pristine Bay. But if you want a unique beach-front home experience with a fun vibe, then Vivaro might be perfect for you. It has definitely been one of our top vacation experiences. ”
