Beautiful, comfortable, wonderful property - can't wait to return!
We came for a "cousin's week" this June, four adults and three kids. One family took the main house, the other the guest house, and everyone had tons of room and privacy. The properties are well designed (full of light, elegant and inviting) and beautifully and comfortably furnished, with absolutely everything you could need. The fabulous solar-heated pool was a big hit and used daily, as were the hot tubs. Evenings we would gather in the main house kitchen and dining area or out under the terrace, which was covered with flowering vines and little lights, surrounded by beautiful flower beds -- truly magical! We can't say enough about how wonderful this property is -- truly an "A+". Bunnies, wild turkeys, and hummingbirds visited daily. We enjoyed the island -- it was a perfect time to go, lovely weather but the summer crowds had not yet arrived. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, but also leave you to your privacy. We are already planning a return visit! One small caveat: our little rental car struggled a bit with the long dirt road, so probably not the best place to take your new sports car.”
Martha's Vineyard Jewel
We just stayed one week at this lovely compound on Martha's Vineyard located about ten minutes out of Edgartown on secluded acreage. Be sure and follow the owners written directions to the property as it can be tricky to find, especially at night. Between the main house and guest cottage our group had plenty of room to spread out. The weather was a little on the cool and rainy side so we did not use the beautiful pool area or hot tubs but they are there for all to enjoy in better weather. Both the home and guest house are well appointed with beautiful furnishings reflecting the costal region. Both kitchens are fully equipped, which we greatly appreciated since we cooked most of our dinners at home. Many thanks to the owners Paul and Karen who were very responsive to any questions or needs. ”
It seems that the Hannigans have thought of everything in these beautifully decorated and perfectly maintained houses. The kitchen is furnished with everything you may need, cupboards are filled with books and games and the laundry room has a pile of beach towels along with an array of coolers and baskets you may need for a picnic at the beach. They also provide complete details about running the house and a full 3-ring notebook with restaurant suggestions, maps and activities available on the island. The home(s) are in a secluded area down a private road -- about a 10-minute drive into Edgartown. You are well located for heading in any direction on the island. We were fortunate to have mild mid-May weather – perfect for biking, hiking and exploring this beautiful island. At this time of year the island is opening up for the summer so many stores and restaurants are open but there are no crowds. We very much enjoyed our stay on Martha’s Vineyard. ”
The owners were great to work with both prior to arrival, and once we were on site. The houses are immaculate, with everything you could possibly desire. The two goumet cooks on our trip were very pleased with the kitchens. The houses were well appointed, with great furnishings, bedding, and towels. I would highly recommend this property, and the owners. Thank you Paul and Karen!”

Magical Christmas at Edgartown Reunion
Our nuclear family of five, joined after several days by a friend and his young son, spent one of the best vacations ever in the the lovely homes of Edgartown Reunion. All aspects of the houses were perfect: somewhat removed from Edgartown and Vineyard Haven themselves so one felt almost in the country, yet perfectly located to explore all corners of the island with its beautiful seascapes, dramatic cliffs, lighthouses, stunning sunsets, as well as the main towns. We couldn't have asked for more welcoming, comfortable and well appointed homes Though the weather was mixed, we set out despite cold winds, took long soaks in the hot tub under snowy skies, cooked up huge meals on the top of the line stove, and greatly enjoyed the variety of books and games. Never turned on the TVs, though there were many of them. Lngering over gourmet meals and just sitting snugly under wraps and delving into heated discussions, easily filled our time. In fact, the week went past far too quickly. We all left enriched by unique memories, wishing that we could have stayed longer. We had the pleasure of meeting our host for a brief chat though we almost felt as if we already knew him and his wife just on the basis of the spirit of their houses, choice of decor, attention to details, and the very helpful emails exchanged before our arrival. Highest recommendation! A real treat though we greatly appreciated being on the island out of season when there were almost no tourists. Thank you so much Karen and Paul! ”
MAGICAL is the only way to describe Edgartown Reunion. Karen and Paul have gone to great lengths to ensure that their guests have an unforgettable experience. The attention to detail at this property in both the main house and the guest house was truly beyond our expectations. We were made to feel at home in a pristine, well-appointed and thoroughly equipped home from the moment we reserved the property. Thank you for making our experience phenomenal. We will never forget our time in Martha's Vineyard because of our time at Oyster Watcha Meadow. We hope to return to this magical place in the future. If we could give higher than 5 stars to a property...this would be the one!! Thank you for making us feel so at home!! You guys are wonderful hosts and we are happy to have had the opportunity to meet you and enjoy your beautiful home. ”
Martha would be proud!
We spent a great week at this fabulous two home complex. The set up with a main house and a guest house was perfect for our two families. Our hosts were terrific and extremely helpful throughout our stay (on-site). Pool was great and location in the very center of the island was good. You do need a car though - you are not really close to any of the towns. Thanks Karen - great time had by all!”
