We loved everything about this house & so did our family. You really get the sane of the water & it is a TRUE Beach House! We fell asleep every night with the windows open & the sounds of the ocean waves. GREAT VIEWS - WOW & a GREAT location with the steps to the beach just 2 blocks away! The owners were super nice & available vis text whenever we needed anything. In addition to the beach we enjoyed exploring the villiage. There are lots of great restaurants in the area - our favorite was a wonderful place called “Vine”. ”

You Will Gasp the First (& Every Time) You See the Views!

We were a family of 7 adults who stayed at Holly's beloved SoCal coastal home for 10 days. We had a car which made it easy to visit nearby sites, but one could easily stay without a car and walk to a nearby bakery, the San Clemente pier/shops, or merely to the beach. Originally we thought we'd be dining out, as there are so many great restaurants, but the family kept voting to stay in - saying "where else could we have a nicer view than from the spacious 2 decks of this home!" We had every thing we needed to make our stay comfortable and convenient. Boogie boarding, surf lesson, beach walks, exploring San Clemente and Dana Point, Cooking together, Door Dashing from great restaurants, cocktails and meals on the deck, game nights and finishing up in the humungous hot tub made for a really memorable family vacation. Holly, and the nearby caretaker, Greg, were quick to respond to any question or need. We hope they liked us as guests as much as we liked them as hosts, because we would love to return again! Thanks to Holly and family for sharing your beautiful home. ”

Lovely family home with great views and easy beach access

We booked this home to visit with our kids and grandkids and it was a perfect place for a family get together. Because the house is set up as basically 2 apartments with two kitchens, the grandkids did their thing downstairs along with breakfast there and the adults were upstairs. It's definitely one house now, but the set up was great for us. One thing I should note is that this is NOT a professionally run vacation villa that you might find on VRBO. If it were, I would probably have given 4 stars. This is an actual beautifully decorated second home with family photos and lots of personal items in drawers etc. A few things were broken, but nothing that affected our stay. Cleaning was what you might expect from your regular service, but given that we came in right after another Third Home group checked out, I think she was not quite up for the challenge. But, we were fine with all that. Think of it as staying in a good friend's house-not perfect, but what a great place!!! One final note, there is major construction going on next door, which I wish we had known about ahead of time. It was pretty loud at times and prevented us from fully enjoying the wonderful outdoor patios before 4pm. Sunsets are awesome though!! ”

Perfect Beach Getaway

Our family of seven thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home that is perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific ocean. The house is nicely decorated in a beach motif and the beds very comfortable. There are sweeping ocean views from the upstairs and downstairs living areas as well as the master bedroom. The expansive outdoor patio -- with its large jacuzzi, comfy outdoor furniture, fire pit and hammock -- is a wonderful area in which to congregate and watch the sunset. Holly is a wonderful and accommodating host. ”

Lovely home with amazing ocean views from both upstairs and downstairs. The home was beautifully decorated and well kept. The outdoor area with hot tub, big couch, fire pit, large table and hammock looking straight at the ocean was all you could ask for. We enjoyed the owner's recommendations for places to go in San Clemente as well. Great stay! Would love to go back. ”

Girls getaway!

What a fantastic home and location. We had an amazing time even with all the rain, mudslides and flooding. It was a bit colder then normal but we were able to utilize the many fire places that the property has, especially the outdoor one. My favorite time was at sunset on the patio with the fire place going. My favorite place was Newport beach which was only about 20 min away. There were only 4 of us so we had more then enough room. The location was convenient to San Diego and Los Angeles and we not that far away from several wineries. The house was super clean and the owners Holly and Tim were very helpful and attentive if we had any questions. I can't thank you enough for accommodating our request for this week. We all needed a little Mom break!”
