Manager, Exchange

An Alabama football fan through and through, Emily went to The University of Alabama and spent many years in Tuscaloosa working in the hospitality industry. She started her career in the hotel industry working as the Banquet Director at a popular hotel on the University of Alabama’s Campus. She worked there for many years eventually moving into a sales role. After almost 5 years at the hotel, she moved with her husband to San Diego, California where she worked as a National Sales Manager for West Coast clientele at a Resort and Convention Center. While working in San Diego, Emily had the opportunity to book and plan many conventions and conferences. Living in San Diego was a wonderful experience and she had the opportunity to meet and partner with many groups from all over the world! Most of all, she enjoyed the people, the sunshine, the food, ocean, and the dog beaches. Her dogs went everywhere with her!

After spending several years in San Diego, she and her husband made the decision to move to Nashville to be closer to family where she continued her career in hotel sales and hospitality. Emily also volunteers with local animal shelters and rescue organizations. She has several dogs and will continue to foster and adopt dogs who are in need of a good and loving home.

When the opportunity to join the THIRDHOME team presented itself, she felt this would be good opportunity to continue in the hospitality industry working within the leisure travel industry. She has worked many markets during her career to include business travel, entertainment, government, associations, education and social clientele. Why not give the leisure industry a try? She has enjoyed her time at THIRDHOME and has enjoyed partnering with the clubs members!

Emily enjoys music, reading and has a passion for people and animals! She can be found cooking, caring for her dogs, volunteering and enjoying time with friends and family during her time off. The hospitality and travel industry is and always will be a major of her career and life!
